Live from the IAAPA Expo tradeshow floor L3DFX Founder and President Paul Ciesiun and Escapology CEO Burton Heiss unveiled details about a partnership that inspires escape game aficionados, superhero fans, and families and friends who love to face a challenge together with BATMAN™: THE DARK KNIGHT CHALLENGE. Orlando-based Escapology turned to L3DFX to bring its creativity and design expertise to one of its newest games while making
it scalable for easy installation at multiple locations.

Escapology developed and wrote an exclusive and original tale that puts players in the middle of Gotham City™ itself. From the moment they enter a BATMAN™: THE DARK KNIGHT CHALLENGE escape game, guests are immersed in a metropolis plagued by crime and injustice. Players learn they have been selected as trainees for Batman’s new Gotham City™ Guardian training program, and they must pass the first test within 60 minutes. From there, players work together to find and dismantle a training device Batman hid in the heart of the city. Success means channeling and thinking like the Dark Knight himself.

L3DFX created a turnkey process for Escapology with BATMAN™: The DARK KNIGHT CHALLENGE. L3DFX has completed six escape games for Escapology and seven more are on the way. L3DFX’s team fabricated and installed many unique elements including four detailed gargoyles – per escape room – that play critical roles in sequencing and problem-solving. We even brought one of the gargoyles to IAAPA Expo! Players can enjoy this game at now at multiple Escapology locations nationwide, including Kissimmee, Florida, and Orland Park, Illinois.
