Themed Scenic Carpenter
Required Skills
- Safe operation and knowledge of hand and power tools as well as typical woodshop equipment
- Work with wood, metals, plastics and other materials to build and/or repair scenic elements
- Ability to read shop and construction drawings
- 2 year(s) work experience, preferably in scenic, set, theater or finish carpentry
- Knowledge of various panel materials such as pvc, aluminum, acrylic, etc a plus
- Demonstrate high quality, precision work with clean finish results consistently
- Experience building furniture, cabinets, or other creative woodworking experience a huge plus
- Must be punctual and have own transportation

Themed Scenic Fabricator
Job Summary
Create and fabricate custom themed scenic elements for the Entertainment Industry. You’ll learn to work with various materials, tools, and use unique methods to execute creative designs for theme parks, entertainment centers, film, television and more!
Required Skills
- Fabricate and assemble various scenic components constructed from a variety of materials
- Finish sculpts, create molds, and cast materials to obtain final parts for use in scenic/props
- Utilize artistic experience working with various materials such as wood, metals, foam, fiberglass and plastics to complete creative builds
- Learn new materials and methods to create dynamic props and set pieces for themed environments
- Perform installations at offsite job locations
- Ability to work with basic hand and power tools

Scenic Painter/Cabinet Painter

Required Skills
- Surface Prep: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Paint: Apply paint to surfaces using various techniques such as airless paint spraying, HVLP, brushing, or rolling, ensuring the proper finish and quality is met
- Mix: Ensure proper mixing and matching of paint colors using our on site mixing system
- Detail: Perform touch-ups and repairs on painted surfaces
- Skills: Operate power tools, sanding equipment, and other tools necessary for painting and surface preparation
- Safety: Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Cabinet Painter or in a related field such as scenic painting, auto body repair work, or home painting is preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical processes and ability to perform basic mechanical tasks
- Familiarity with power tools used in painting and surface preparation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Basic knowledge of working with various sprayers, tips, sizes, pressures, and other techniques for a smooth finish

Themed Entertainment Designer
Required Skills
- Experience Solid Modeling and creating 3D forms is a must
- Design 3D parts with a basic understanding of build strategy using Solidworks, Rhino, Fusion 360 or similar software
- Understand materials and fabrication processes that affect design
- Experience in Theming, Set, or Exhibit, Interior, or Trade Show Design
- Ability to organize data and information into a highly polished presentation is required
- Ability to organize and participate in production and design meetings
- Cooperate with creative team members to preserve design intent, and determine design details and specifications.
- Experience converting poly data (.STL, .OBJ) to water tight solid surface editable bodies a plus
- Work with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to ensure structure, mechanisms or technology cooperates with the 3D form
- Understand dimensioning and possess good understanding of final assembly
- Experience in actual fabrication a plus
- Brainstorm creatively and contribute to develop concepts

Design Background/Skills

Mechanical Engineer
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to custom build elements such as show set pieces/static props to innovative mechanical interactions
- Assist design team to develop project approach and strategies to achieve build requirements
- Develop materials to be used in the build and create a Bill of Materials
- Identify and source components for the project that provide the desired effect
- Design and develop assembly strategies for various project elements
- Research, study and identify comparable design strategies for implementation
- Use Solidworks and CAD software to create preliminary and detailed models and drawings of the product
- Produce construction documentation and specifications for build
- As required, build models and prototypes of the components, products or concepts to test and validate design intent
- Cooperate with production staff to resolve any issues related to design
- Travel to project sites may be required from time to time
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Electronics Engineer
Duties/Responsibilities
- Experience with Arduino hardware and software required
- Cooperate with creative team members to ideate, develop design intent, and determine design details and specifications based on the client need
- Participate in ideation and innovation discussions
- Possess creative problem-solving capacity
- Identify parts, wiring, components based on the need required
- Collect information on project specifications, performance requirements, and known capabilities and limitations
- Design circuitry, wiring and component integration for PCB board fabrication
- Provide design drawings to the relevant team members
- Create Bill of Materials, parts and components lists for Purchasing Department
- Assist in providing estimates of design, materials and labor costs to Project Manager
- Direct external production sources, when required, to produce custom components as needed
- Experience in Theming, Robotics, Animatronics a plus
- Ability to participate in production and design meetings

Software Experience
- AutoCAD or similar programs
- PCB Design Software such as Eagle or Altium (preferred)

Design Background/Skills
- Recent experience (<2 years) in design and calculation software

Electronics Technician
Duties/Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Repair Electronics Systems
- Install New Electronic Equipment, Wiring and Components
- Update Software and Run Tests on Existing Equipment
- Understand Standard Test Equipment – (oscilloscopes, counters, multimeters)
- Understand Electronic Components – (motors, resistors, transistors, capacitors)
- Configure and assemble small electrical enclosures and junction boxes
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and drawings in order to complete the project results
- Maintain all relevant standards and best practices
- Maintain tools, work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow safe working practices
- Occasionally travel to complete site work
- Collaborate and communicate with other Technicians
- Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will improve the build quality or efficiency
